The range cuts all pallet wood types, including nail-embedded pallet timber, so you can carry on through boards and fixings without stopping to change blades. On a damaged or tightly packed pallet a pointed tip can catch on nails and splintered boards; the rounded tip helps the blade slide past them, so the cut does not stall or kick. Two straight-blade sizes are listed, both 19mm (3/4") wide and 0.89mm (0.035") thick and supplied in packs of 20: 203mm (8") and 228mm (9"). The 203mm blade is the more manageable choice for cutting between deck boards and stringers; the 228mm blade gives extra reach on deeper pallets or when cutting through blocks.
