With diameters from 19mm right up to 210mm, the DCH range covers everything from small cable holes to large openings for ducting and services, making it a strong choice for electrical, plumbing, HVAC and general construction work. How to choose: pick the diameter that gives clearance for the pipe, duct or fitting passing through, and choose DCH over a standard hole saw whenever the material is thicker than a single board. Usage tips: on deep cuts, withdraw the hole saw part-way through to clear sawdust and let the teeth cool. Larger diameters should be run at lower speeds. Make sure your arbor suits the diameter you choose. When should I choose a deep-cut hole saw? Choose DCH for joists, thick timber and layered boards where the extra depth lets you cut through in one go. Can I use DCH hole saws in abrasive materials?
