Choosing the Right Width and TPI
Narrower widths (1/4–3/8”) are best for tight curves and detailed cuts. Wider widths (1/2–1 1/4”) suit straight ripping cuts and resawing. Higher TPI gives a finer finish; lower TPI cuts faster through thicker material.
