Application
Bimetal M51 bandsaw blades use M51 powdered metal HSS tips — significantly harder and more heat-resistant than standard M42 bimetal bandsaw blades. This bandsaw blade specification is the right choice for hardened steel, stainless, titanium, inconel, and other difficult-to-cut alloys where standard bimetal blades wear rapidly. Expect markedly longer bandsaw blade life on challenging materials.
Bandsaw Blade Width: 1"
At 1" wide, this bandsaw blade is built for resawing and heavy straight cutting. The added width resists deflection under load and helps maintain a square cut face through thick stock. Recommended for floor-standing or industrial-class machines.
TPI: 4–6 TPI (variable pitch)
Variable pitch — dampens harmonics when cutting mixed-section metal and bundles.
Keep at least 3 teeth in contact with the workpiece at all times for efficient cutting and to avoid stripping tooth tips. For thin-wall or variable-section material, variable-pitch bandsaw blades reduce harmonic vibration and extend bandsaw blade life.
Bandsaw Blade Length: 5791.2mm
A 5791.2mm bandsaw blade is a heavy industrial size used on large production bandsaws in sawmills, timber processing, and metal cutting operations. Accurate measurement of your existing bandsaw blade is essential before ordering at this length.
If your saw requires a slightly different bandsaw blade length, enter your exact measurement in our configurator — we cut bandsaw blades to any length within our range. The loop length is always measured with the bandsaw blade ends joined as they run on the machine.
